Prof. Katz Visiting HH Acharya Mahashraman in Dungergadh Prof. Katz in his India trip met Acharya Mahashraman, the successor of great saint Acharya Mahaprajna and the religious leader of Jain Terapanth Order. Acharya Mahashraman appreciated the academic activities of FIU and contribution of Jain community of America for that. He blessed Prof. Katz to enhance Jain wisdom in various fields of knowledge.
In his Dungergadh visit, Prof. Katz also met with Sadhvi Pramukha Kanakprabha, the Head of nuns of Terapanth Order. She was glad to know the development of Jain studies in FIU. She shared her valuable thought with Prof. Katz to foster Jain studies in the western environment.
